SABINE TROWE
As the daughter of a German cartoonist, Sabine grew up surrounded by paper, colors and the translation of artistic ideas into visual works, and she began painting with watercolors at an early age. Her fascination with the influence of paper texture on the flow of watercolors grew to a passionate interest in handcrafted paper and, eventually, to learning the art of paper making.
After working alongside several well-known artists, including Hemut Frerick, Marc Thompson and Sait Günel, Sabine then devoted herself to learning the craft of book-binding, focusing on a variety of Asian techniques.
